Video: Intro to Online ADR and About Me

About Me

I was born in Texas and went to law school in New York. I now live near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I love to travel internationally – one of my goals in teaching at STL was to travel to law schools throughout East and Southeast Asia seeing professional colleagues and making new contacts. I often tell people that I love to travel because I love to eat. I will try anything once and I especially enjoy food that is hot and spicy!

Professionally, I am a faculty member at Ohio Northern University Law where I teach Civil Procedure, Torts, and a wide variety of labor and dispute resolution courses. I have published more than eighty scholarly articles and authored or co-authored eight books on a variety of topics related to labor and dispute resolution.

My most recent book is Cambridge Handbook of US Labor Law: Reinventing Labor Law for the 21st Century (co-edited with Charlotte Garden). In addition to teaching and writing, I am a part-time labor arbitrator.
